Our mission

Reconnecting young people with the natural world.

We started Earthwise boxes with the aim of creating fun activities to inspire families to spend more time out in nature.

Spending time in natural environments does incredible things for our cognitive, emotional and physical wellbeing whilst also helping to develop positive environmental attitudes and values.

Research shows that 1 in 9 children in the UK hasn't set foot in a natural environment or green space in the last 12 months.

As a social enterprise we reinvest profits to provide FREE boxes and events for disadvantaged families.

With childhood anxiety levels at an all time high, young people need to reconnect with nature for their own wellbeing but also for that of the planet. It is today’s youth that will be tasked with tackling the climate crisis head on. By spending more time in nature children can start to develop an understanding of the Earth’s natural systems, our place within them, and develop a sense of respect for the natural world.

“No one will protect what they don’t care about; and no one will care about what they have never experienced.”

- Sir David Attenborough
